Name= Gekaino Kodomo (surname first)
Spirit= Earth
Age= 15
Apperence= Kodomo is about 5'3" with long rust-colored hair that goes down to her ankles. She usually ties half of it up in a bun and the rest up in a braid that runs along the crown of her head. Her bangs are chunky and hang on either side of her face in a style similar to Yukari in "Paradise Kiss". Her eyes are hazel and almond-shaped. She has very tanned skin and is very muscular, although she is thin. She wears a pendent that says "Rabbit" in Chinese given to her as a Christmas present from her little brother.
Family=
Father: Gekaino Yukito Yukito was born in the Juuban district of Tokyo. When he was sixteen, he moved to Los Angeles to get away from his restricting parents. He moved again when he won a scholarship to Institut Catholique de Paris. Yukito was a businessman until his father died three years ago. He moved his family from Los Angeles to Tokyo for the funeral, then moved them permanently there after his mother told him his father had left him the family's Shinto shrine. Taro calls him "Monkey".
Mother: Gekaino Shikai Shikai, formerly Wei Shikai, is a Chinese-American woman who was born in Salem, Oregon. She moved to Los Angeles shortly after she turned twenty, and met Yukito during a semester abroad to Paris. They eloped after Yukito moved back to Los Angeles and had Namiko. She almost lost her job, and started her fashion line "Angel Tears", a teen girls line much like "Confucius", except it looks more like hippie fashions. Kodomo is the only one in her family that wears "Angel Tears" on a daily basis. Shikai is also a clothing designer for many B-labels in New York, Rome, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. She was the one who pushed Yukito to move back to Tokyo because she wanted to be even more influenced by the Asian culture in her clothing designs. Taro calls her "Rooster".
Sister: Gekaino Namiko Namiko is seventeen, and is very preppy. She teases her sister constantly, and is very childish. She clings to every guy she meets and is never at home. Her parents think shes perfect, while Kodomo and Taro think shes annoying. Taro calls her "Dragon".
Brother: Gekaino Taro Taro is four. He is obsessed with monsters and Power Rangers, and believes that Namiko is "Annoymon", a name aptly given to him for her by Kodomo no less. He thinks girls are "gross-monsters" and doesnt understand that his mother and sister are also girls. When he found out Kodomo kept a diary, or a "diagram" as he calls it, he took one of Namikos old school notebooks and scribbled on one page daily. He has nicknames for everyone in his family, based on the Chinese Zodiac since Shikai gave him a poster with the signs on it. Yukito is "Monkey", Shikai is "Rooster", Namiko is "Dragon", Kodomo is "Rabbit", and Nuriko is "Snake".
Grandmother: Gekaino Nuriko Nuriko is Yukitos mother. She seemingly knows everything, and knows every loophole to get her family to divulge their secrets to her. She had lived in Akita most of her life, until her husbands family died during an earthquake and left him the shrine Yukito now owns. She had two other sons other thank Yukito, named Juro and Hotohomi. Yukito is her youngest son and the one she always liked the most. She tells Kodomo that there is something special about her and that shes her favorite grandchild.
Personality= Kodomo is sarcastic and spiteful. Shes also, oddly enough, the peacekeeper of her family. When Namiko has a boy over and Shikai and Yukito come home, Kodomo is the one who helps the boy sneak out unnoticed. When Taros supposed to eat his vegetables, Kodomo slips them onto her plate when her parents arent looking so her brother can go play. She plays sports constantly, and was on varsity swim team and field hockey in LA. Shes a huge klutz, and is very aggressive. She tries to repress anger, fear, pain, hate, and sadness so she can stay levelheaded. And although she may not appear it, she is very intelligent, which sometimes throws people off when they call her a jock.
Likes= Swimming, field hockey, her family, being unique
Dislikes= standing still for too long, crying, getting beaten up, horror movies
DIGIMON
Human Spirit= Jinjujamon Jinjujamon is a brown-skinned digimon with a purple peasant blouse and a pair of flared jeans and wooden sandals. She has Kodomos rabbit pendent still on and has daisies all around the braid-crown in her hair. Her hair is pink. She is a usually peaceful digimon with a very bad temper. Her only attack is "Old Fashioned Melody". This emits a beam of light from one of her hands. The beam causes an illusionary effect that traps the enemy in a dream world.
Beast Spirit= Kikikomon Kikikomon is slightly taller than Kodomo with raven-colored fur and big green eyes. She is a rabbit/human mixture wearing a black skirt and a yellow tee shirt. She also has Kodomos pendent hanging off a chocker. Her attack is "Bunny Bolt". She touches the pendent hanging around her neck and a white light appears in every crevice of the pendent. The light bursts out into a bubble that forms around her enemy. The bubble lets out bursts of electricity at random intervals. This attack can be strengthened with water attacks and is weakened by wind attacks.
Advanced= Luciusmon Luciusmon is a girl with bunny ears, wearing a black tight-fitting gothic dress wearing nothing on her feet. She holds a scythe and floats slightly when she walks. She still wears Kodomos pendent, but now it hangs off the scythes handle. Her attacks are "Earthen Pot" and "Dust Cellar". In "Earthen Pot", she points her scythe at her attacker and creates a pottery-style web that stops the opponent in its tracks. It can be strengthened with a fire attack and weakened with brute strength. "Dust Cellar" creates a casket made of wood and dirt around the enemy, using the same hand movements as "Earthen Pot" that slowly suffocates the enemy. It can also be destroyed with brute strength.
Ultimate= Seriamon Seriamon is a mammoth-sized rabbit-digimon that stands on its hind legs, wearing a pink sundress, with big black wings, with Kodomos pendent still there, this time hanging from an earring in her left rabbit-ear. She looks both cute and menacing all at the same time. Her attacks are "Bunny Tornado" and "Whistling Rampage". In "Bunny Tornado", Seriamon creates a small dust storm by flapping her wings. The dust forms into the form of Seriamon and crashes into her attacker, usually knocking them twenty feet or so away. "Whistling Rampage" is actually a rather simple attack. Seriamon announces the attacks name, and whistles. The whistle resonates, causing an earthquake of massive proportions that, when used in a large area, only slightly rattles her enemies, making them even more annoyed with her, or, in a small area, causes her attacker to black out. This attack can be countered if her attacker can hover, teleport, or fly.

Seriamon Can fly about fifty- to a hundred feet in the air. She can also run long distances at high-speed, much like Kikikomon.
Writing Sample= "Kodomo-naasan!" Taro called, beaming. It was six oclock in the morning and a time neither of his elder sisters usually woke up to see. "KODOMO-NAASAN!" The small boy was now screaming. The girl laying in the futon bolted upright, her rusty hair in tangles and her mind not fully focused. "Taro-niichan? Taro-chan, whats wrong? Are you hurt?" "Iie. But Kodomo-naasan, look at the pretty picture I drew of you an me an Monkey an Rooster an Snake an Dragon! I put it in my diagram, just like the picture of us that you put in yours!" The young boy was beaming with pride; although his elder sister did now wish she had locked her door that night. "Thats really great, Taro-chan! Now, if you dont mind, I need to get some sleep." "But Kodomo! Rabbit!" He was bawling, and the girl knew she wasnt getting anymore sleep. "What Taro-chan?" Kodomo said, annoyed. "Snake told me to get you. She said to tell you that if you didnt come down and get the phone, then shed have to hit you over the head with one of the ancestor statues." The boy smiled and ran out of the room. "SNAKE! RABBITS AWAKE!" He screamed. Kodomo sighed and pulled herself out of the futon. She walked down the hall, but before she reached her grandmothers room, someone grabbed her arm. "Hey, Kodomo-naachan." Namiko yawned, pulling the younger girl aside. "Before Yukito and Shikai get up, do you know if theyre going out tonight? Fushimokis coming over so we cantalk." Kodomo shook her head. "I dont know if mom and dad are going out tonight, Namiko-naasan" She stressed the words mom and dad, "but I can ask." "You are a life-saver, Kodomo!" Namiko squealed, hugging her younger sister. Kodomo rolled her eyes and pulled herself away. She resumed the walk down to her grandmothers room and reached it. "Whats wrong, Grandmother?" She asked. "Whos calling?" "Im not sure." Nuriko said. She smiled mischieviously at her granddaughter. "Maybe its one of the cute boys from L.A. that Namiko always said followed you around. "Please." Kodomo grimaced at the thought and picked up the phone. "Moshi-moshi, Gekaino residence, whos calling?" "Is this Kodomo?" was the reply over the phone. "Who is this?" Kodomo demanded. "Kodomo? This isnt Namiko, is it? Its really Kodomo?" "Hai, Im Kodomo. Now, whos calling?" The girl was getting impatient now. "Do you know of the Shinjiki station?" "Yeah, I live right near there. Why? Is this another prank caller, because if it is-" The voice on the other end cut her off. "Go there this afternoon." "Why?" "And take the elevator to the basement." "What? Hello? Hello? Granma! They hung up on me!" Kodomo complained. Her grandmother gave her a sympathetic look. "Whatd they say? And none of the granma stuff. It sounds too American." "Last time I checked, I was AmericanWhatd they say? ToOh, never mind, Grandmother. It was probably a prank caller." Kodomo went about her morning routine. She reported to her love-struck sister that their parents were going out that night. She was also asked to bring Taro to his best friend Mikukis home so the two would have a chance to play before Mikuki went to visit his father in Hong Kong. Kodomo agreed, only because she wanted her brother to have a good time, and brought him. As she was leaving the hotel, her mind went back to the events of that morning. She nearly chocked on the gum she was chewing when she walked into a sign that read "Shinjiki Station, 1 Block". She stood there, pondering for a moment, then broke off into a run in the direction of the station.
